Six Sentence Sunday - Thirty

Moving on to the next MS, The Virgin Who Cried Wolf, out in April.  Part of the new Evernight series, Naughty Fairy Tales, it takes the story of the Boy Who Cried Wolf on its ear.


After having sat for nearly a full day, she was more pissed off than she could recall. This would have to be unequivocally be the worst day of her entire life.



She recalled the abject look of horror on Bren’s face as he turned to run from the wolves, leaving her there to rot. He’d made it back to the inn and she was sure that he’d told everyone there that she was in danger. She hoped the werewolf had been right, that the prank had ruined her chance of a savior and it wasn’t that they just didn’t care.


They did care about her, didn’t they?
