When researching burlesque for my newest release, Burlesque Trio, I had to scour through all kinds of music to get the right vibe for the performances that my heroine gives.
Before (or as) you read the story, I'd like to offer a musical companion ((below the blurb)). Most of the songs are ones in which many have heard of before, but some of them have such an impact on the storyline that I felt compelled to remind or reveal the songs. They really are such a vivid part of the story, so even if you heard them before, take a listen if it's been a while.
I had so much fun writing this one, I truly believe this is one of my strongest to date. I hope you, the reader, enjoys it as much as I have.

Burlesque Trio
[Ménage Amour: Erotic Paranormal Ménage a Trois Romance, M/F/M, ghosts]
“VaVa Violet” DiCosta was the hottest burlesque dancer in all of 1942 LA until a stalker’s bullet ended her short life. Stuck in limbo, she watches time pass through the eyes of the club she died in.
Nearly seventy years later, best friends Parker Thomas and Ciprian Svetski fall in love with the style of the old building and decide to return it to its former glory and reopen the old burlesque. But they know business, not talent, and the show doesn’t own up to its history.
Violet’s given a second chance in someone else’s body. She shows the men a thing or two about burlesque, as well as how to sell seduction. And she decides to seduce them while she’s at it, but never imagined she’d lose her heart to them.
Or that her killer wouldn’t be happy about her return.
A Siren Erotic Romance
Violet was a burlesque dancer in the 1940's, just as America was heading off to war. We meet her in the first chapter, where she performs her own rendition of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy to a crowd of GIs about to ship out.
Violet was murdered in the club and due to her untimely death, she was stuck there in limbo, watching time and her beloved second home pass from decade to decade. When new owners Ciprian and Parker take over the joint in the present and revive the old burlesque back to it's original granduer, Violet is given the chance to cross back over to the other side. That is, thanks to a bitchy, coke-snorting diva who can't really sing or dance.
Violet wows the two men with her performances, and starts their brains whirring, as the bitch they hated soon becomes the woman they can't live without. They know there is something strange going on, but their desires and appreciation of the woman she has become leads them to stay in some sort of denial.
Of course, the bitch wants her body back. And her killer wants her soul now that it is out of limbo. Can she hold on to both, and potentially the love of the two men who helped bring her back into the world of the living?
